GYROTONIC®
The Art of Exercising and Beyond®
Susan Lynn Bragg
A joy to execute, the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is a cutting-edge exercise system made up of beautiful spiraling movements that gently release restrictions in the body while simultaneously increasing strength and connecting you to your core. The design of the specialized equipment promotes freedom of motion, allowing you to transcend the limits of weight bearing positions with no impact on the joints, much like exercising in water. At the same time, you will be developing the internal strength necessary for creating a healthy, toned, injury-free body.
The system was created by Juliu Horvath, a former dancer of Romanian descent, whose personal struggles and chronic injuries inspired him to create a system where fluidity and ease are key.
“ The ultimate aim is to be at home in one’s body, experience greater freedom of movement, to feel unrestricted and uninhibited, to be free from pain, to be one with the nature of oneself, and to experience exercise as a creative and delightful experience”
- Juliu Horvath
