Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (Cancer)
Integrative Acupuncture is the blending of Eastern and Western medicine with Holistic modalities as a complete healing system which effectively treats and resolves a variety of health problems, especially cancer and chronic conditions.
Cindy Albon, LAc developed this integrative treatment approach to healing ten years ago, while overseeing her personal recovery from a health challenge. The powerful benefits of Integrative Acupuncture is evidenced by Cindy’s complete remission from stage IV cancer, and is effective for anyone with a difficult health condition.
Each individual is treated primarily from the viewpoint of Traditional Asian Medicine with Acupuncture, Herbs, Auriculotherapy, Nutrition and Lifestyle Counseling to assist the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Care is integrated with western medicine by monitoring patient progress through lab work and imaging reports.
We are animated by a vital energy called Qi. When Qi is out of balance, afflictions can result. Integrative Acupuncture creates homeostasis by regulating the flow of Qi along pathways in the body, thereby relieving symptoms while correcting the root cause of dis-ease.
Chronic conditions often need to be treated by multiple methods in order to correct the cause and achieve relief from symptoms. Aromatherapy, Sound Healing, Energy Work and Visualization are integrated into acupuncture sessions to restore emotional well-being and encourage the healing process on all levels – Mind, Body & Spirit.
