Nutrition counseling is appropriate for individuals looking to improve their health and ultimately, their life. Consultation topics, which vary depending on an individual’s needs, may include: identifying the components of a healthy diet, successfully achieving weight loss and keeping it off through determining one’s metabolism, controlling chronic disease through lifestyle changes, and making healthier food choices when on the run. An individual’s dietary intake and exercise regimen have a large impact on their quality of life, and with slight modifications over time, health and wellness can be achieved.
